Angela Medina Garcia

I am a PhD candidate in the Avian Communication and Evolution Lab. My interests are in the evolution of acoustic signals and communication systems, mate choice, and learning. I am particularly fascinated by the decision-making process behind mate choice and the factors that influence this choice in monogamous birds. I am currently conducting a comprehensive study of female mate choice in Budgerigars, focusing on the role of male cognitive abilities in this choice. I am also investigating the link between personality and cognition in Budgerigars. To learn more about me and my research visit: angelamedinagarcia.com
