
Dr. Hamid Mansouri Rad is a Senior Proposal Development Specialist at New Mexico State University (NMSU)’s Research Administration Services. Dr. Rad helps advance the university’s research mission by supporting faculty and staff in obtaining external funding for research, educational, and outreach activities.
Dr. Rad manages NMSU’s limited submission process and is the university’s concierge in Mountain-West Clinical and Translational Research Infrastructure Network (MW CTR-IN). He coordinates NMSU faculty members’ engagement with MW CTR-IN, guiding them in obtaining seed funding for their research endeavors.
Before joining the Office of the Vice President for Research, Hamid was a Computational Linguist at NMSU’s Computing Research Laboratory (2000-2007). He holds a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Professional Communication from NMSU (2019). His dissertation explored the nature of argumentation in US national security intelligence products.
